Huxleigh Cottage Accommodation
Huxleigh is a small, thatched, traditional Devon cottage comprising of a large lounge / dining room; a small but well equipped kitchen, a bathroom / WC with shower and stairs leading to two bedrooms.
The Kitchen
The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher, microwave and cooker and plenty of pots and pans for guests keen to make the most of the fabulous local Devon produce.
The Lounge
The lounge has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. Two leather sofas offer comfort for guests after a long day on beach or moor. There is a dining table with 6 chairs.
The dining table and doors to the cottage were made by local craftsman, Stephen Simmonds, from Molland, Exmoor. They are made of local oak which Steve sawed from fallen oak trees on Molland common.
The Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious and comprises of a bath with shower, sink, heater towel rail and WC.
Bedroom 1
The main bedroom has a large king sized double bed, a built in cupboard and a sink.
Bedroom 2
The second bedroom has two single beds, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
